The
black-and-white Densitometer T120 can measure densities (up to D=6) and dot percentages on

SCAN-DENSITOMETER RS400
The Scan-Densitometer RS400
revolutionizes automatic measurement of densities and dot gain on any print control strip.
The measurement device is simply guided by hand over the print control strip. Guided
tracking wheels on the bottom of the device ensure a straight run. Combined with the
Windows software TECHKON ExPresso, all important measurement data are displayed on the
computer screen. This lets you precisely control a printing machine and results in shorter

SPECTRO-DENSITOMETER SD620
The new Spectro-Densitometer
SD620 combines the measurement principle of a high-power spectrophotometer with the easy
operability of a densitometer. All density-related functions that are relevant in the
print workshop or pre-press including those for special inks are called up via an
intuitive user menu. A powerful feature of the SD620 is the measurement of densities, dot
gain and related functions of special inks. Naturally, this measurement device also

DIGITAL MICROSCOPE DMS910
TECHKON's Digital
MicroScope DMS 910 reveals what the eye alone cannot see. A large magnification displays
the screen dots of a film or a printing plate on a computer screen. The Windows software
TECHKON DMS Pro uses this digital picture to automatically calculate exact values for dot
area, screen width and screen angle. The digital microscope registers different screening
technologies (AM and FM rasters).
Operation is simple: Position the measurement device by
hand on the printing plate. Pinpoint the measurement spot exactly with the finder on the
top of the device. The PC screen displays the measured section in large magnification.
Film is also measured without a problem. By using a high-resolution digital camera module
in combination with premium microscope optics and sophisticated image analysis, you can

MiniTarget System
In cooperation with the Ugra/FOGRA
research institutes, TECHKON presents a comprehensive measurement system for quality
assurance in newspaper printing. This system features an innovative measurement
technology. The system consists of the TECHKON measurement device MTC 920 MiniTarget
Camera, the Windows- software TECHKON MTC Pro as well as a special control element.

SPECTROPHOTOMETER SP810
Easy operation, compact shape,
fixed measurement head and high measurement speed are also the special characteristics of
the Spectrophotometer SP810. Connected directly to a computer, it is used for colorimetric

SPECTROPHOTOMETER SP820 / SP830
The Spectrophotometers SP820 and
SP830 are the key to professional management of colors. These handy measurement devices
satisfy the highest demands of precision and reliability. They feature all current
colorimetric functions including the display of remission curves. The measuring module
consists of a fixed grating-diode-unit with high spectral resolution. Due to the fixed
positioning of the optical components the device has no moving parts and is thus extremely

COLOR MANAGEMENT
TECHKON supplies a comprehensive
system-based solution consisting of software and measurement technology for achieving
high-quality color reproduction in pre-press and print.
In this respect, the TestChart Reader TCR can be used for
automatic measurement of test standards in association with the measurement devices CP300
or SP810. The measurement device is clipped onto the carriage of the TCR; under computer
control every color patch is then automatically measured. This process runs fully
automatically and is complete within a few minutes, even for the largest testcharts. The
measurement table takes charts up to DIN A3 in size. The included TCR-Read software

 SOFTWARE
All TECHKON measurement devices
can be connected via a serial port to a PC or Macintosh. The TECHKON QS PRO software
features multiple options for control and adjustment of characteristic printing curves in
multi-color printing. TECHKON ExPresso in combination with the Scan-Densitometer RS400 is
a complete quality assurance system for controlling a printing press.
 The TECHKON PhotoLab program is meant for
colorimetric analysis and control in print. Graphic representations show the color

PRINT CONTROL STRIPS
TCS print control strips are arranged by ink
zones. Each ink zone contains a complete set of test patches for solid density. Other
elements included are patches for 40% and 80% dot area, gray balance, slur and doubling,
trapping and highlight patches. The control strips are available on film as well as
